My biggest shame about being a witness was my attitude about gay people. I mean talking to householders and having used " hate" speach i am not proud of that.

Tell you what most men dont find the thought of two women having sex repulsive but are a little more critical about two men...as for me lets quote Lennnon " imagine when the world can live as one"

did you ever wonder that as a jw?.

if all the trouble on this planet is down to satan and the demons, why not just get rid of them and then leave humankind alone and see how we go from there?

wouldn't a god who "is love" (1 john 4:8) full of mercy and justice at least try that first?

Yes Yadda Yadda another genocide by the CREATOR...anyway its all Adams fault he should have eaten from the " tree of life" before he ate from the " tree of knowledge" Oh actually its Gods fault for creating Adam with out the intelligence to think of that...ect ect ect

So your prayers wernt answerd and " the father wadnt glorified in the son"

Then i assume your prayers not being answerd bought reproach on the fathers name?

Now bringing reproach " on the fathers name" is a big NO NO with witnesses, and i remember they got around it by saying the prayer had to be according to Jehovers will. It kind of restricted what was acceptable to pray about.

recentley i read ray franz book " christian freedom" and it occurd to me if he had lost his faith and become athiest the society would have delighted in that.

i think had ray turned athiest it would have been more easily " justified" in the mags what a " evil man he was" ....but maintaining his faith left the possibillity the society could be wrong.. .

i am athiest but i kept this to myself when i left... any comments?.

Anyway i exchanged him for 12 men in Brooklyn and yes i still cant find him.

Well when a person challenges there beliefs, it can be scary for those close to them.Its nice however if this can be debated.But its also nice if it doesnt need to be debated. I mean i am a much calmer person now i left the witnesses. I think the transformation in myself is the loudest voice. I feel at peace.

Actually the way i figured it in my case " strong" brother suddenley stops going to meetings...and they were experienced to know i aint going back.So elders i was friendley with dont want the altercation. Leave it to the elders who i wasnt so familliar with. And as i WONT discuss religon with them they soon get frustrated.

Whats scary is how the audience could be silent in the face of such vileness, and hatred . I am glad this speach has reached a wider audience that is strongley condemning this talk.
